Third-party Licenses

Last Video Labs relies on third-party software and services. This page gathers the corresponding attributions and licenses.

FFmpeg

Video assembly is handled by FFmpeg, distributed alongside the application as a separate binary. FFmpeg is free software under the GPL/LGPL license; the distributed build comes from gyan.dev. FFmpeg's source code is available at git.ffmpeg.org. FFmpeg is a trademark of Fabrice Bellard.

Stock footage banks

• Pexels — clips are used in accordance with the Pexels license (commercial use allowed, no attribution required).
• Pixabay — clips are used in accordance with the Pixabay license (commercial use allowed, no attribution required).

The user remains responsible for complying with these licenses in their own publications (in particular restrictions on reselling unmodified content or featuring recognizable people in certain contexts).

AI services

• Anthropic (Claude) — text generation, via the user's own API key: Anthropic's terms
• Microsoft Edge TTS — voice synthesis
• ElevenLabs (optional) — voice synthesis via the user's own key: ElevenLabs' terms

Software libraries

The application notably embeds: Python, FastAPI, Uvicorn, Pillow, Requests, edge-tts, pywebview — each under its own open-source license (MIT, BSD, Apache 2.0…).
