These terms govern the purchase and use of the Last Video Labs software, published by LastParadox, a local tool for generating short-form videos that runs on the user's own computer.
Purchase grants a personal, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the software on the buyer's personal machines. The license does not permit resale, redistribution, or sharing of the software.
The software runs on API keys supplied by the user (Anthropic, Pexels, Pixabay, ElevenLabs where applicable). The user is solely responsible for these accounts, their costs, and compliance with each provider's terms. LastParadox does not resell any API credit and never has access to these keys, which stay stored locally.
The videos produced belong to the user. The user is responsible for the content they generate and publish, including compliance with the licenses of the stock footage banks used (Pexels, Pixabay) and the terms of the platforms they publish to.
Software updates are included in the license. They are provided "as is", with no commitment to a release schedule or future features.
The software is digital content delivered immediately after purchase. In accordance with applicable consumer law, the buyer expressly agrees, at the time of payment, to immediate performance and waives the standard 14-day right of withdrawal.
A commercial warranty of proper operation nonetheless applies: if the software does not work on the buyer's machine (installation failure, crash on launch, blocking malfunction), a full refund can be requested within 14 days of purchase, under the following conditions:
The following do not qualify for a refund: a change of mind, a configuration that does not meet the stated requirements (Windows 10/11), or API costs incurred with third-party providers. Upon refund, the license is revoked.
The software is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, LastParadox shall not be liable for indirect damages related to its use, including API costs incurred by the user or the use of the generated videos.
